So I mentioned a few posts back of how I used to rock menswear regularly and was feeling inspired to do so again so here I go. This look had me feeling polished and sexy in a way a dress just doesn't, funny how that happens. Suits are for the ladies too! Get into it, boo.
Watching things leave in slow motion but being afraid to look away because it was once familiar for so long. Why do we do that? Let it go like a frozen song. I have some tough decisions to make soon but until then here's my outfit inspired by both a flamenco dance master and a Captain of a ship. I first tried on these zesty Zara pants with its matching suit jacket which overwhelmed me a little. Online, the bell sleeved jacket was paired with slim yellow pants which I like much more. Anyway, I fell in love with pants and paired it with what feels much more me. Link for the pants below!
When Sam mentioned he had a business meeting in Vegas the same week that Patrice (a school counselor) was on spring break, I rescheduled my day so we could all go and shoot at the seven magic mountains art installation. Blogger life! Patrice and I were jokingly saying yesterday "if you see me posing in front of your house, just know I think your home aesthetic is beautiful." Don't be fooled by the internet, these endless backdrops don't fall out of the sky. The colorfully stacked boulders are brighter than a pack of starbursts and really stand apart in the desert so if you're ever in Vegas before May 2018, (when it'll be taken down) take the time to go see it. It's absolutely beautiful which made shooting in a location filled with tourists and people blankly staring like "who the hell are these girls taking photos?" while our heels were sinking into the desert grounds completely worth it. Anyway, this post is LONG overdue. the busier Patrice and I get, the easier it is for us to be content shooting separately but we'd like to be seen on here together more often so we're trying to do better once again. Thanks for hanging with us and see you in our next post!
